The Getty Center

EG is held at the Getty Center, one of the most important and remarkable artistic enterprises in the world. The Getty will be turning 10 just a few days after EG. Its art collections are nonpareil, and during EG we will enjoy access to the galleries of this celebrated museum. The arts endowment is valued at over $10b. But the activities of the Getty range far and wide, including the research institute, conservation programs and a vast foundation focused on the visual arts. The $1.2bn travertine campus was designed by architect Richard Meier and occupies a commanding mountaintop site above Bel Air: you can see the snows of Big Bear, the Pacific Ocean and the entire Los Angeles basin. It's one of the world's great architectural landmarks. Cloistered yet airy, it is a stunning venue for EG.

We have reserved a limited quantity of room at special eg07 rates at the the Luxe and the Angeleno, which are both down the hill from the Getty and offer complimentary shuttle service on demand.
